And it’s all because I can sneak lots of code into the DEV branch without a formal code review!!! It saves me like 2 hours the week you are gone, and I feel very productive. Shit, I’ll even work late on Tuesdays to get more code written.

I mean no disrespect. I firmly believe a change from the day-to-day grind is beneficial. Nothing prolonged, just 2 maybe 3 weeks out of the year.
